WHICH THEOLOGIAN ARE YOU?

I saw this on Scott Freeman's blog and decided to give it a try.

You scored as Anselm, Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

You scored as a John Calvin. Much of what is now called Calvinism had more to do with his followers than Calvin himself, and so you may or may not be committed to TULIP, though God's sovereignty is all important.

John Calvin 87%
Martin Luther 73%
Karl Barth 53%
Friedrich Schleiermacher 7%
Charles Finney 40%
Anselm 40%
Augustine 27%
Jürgen Moltmann 27%
Jonathan Edwards 27%
Paul Tillich 13%

I find this really funny since you are a Calvinist and I am not. :)

Uhhhhhhh.......

Who's your daddy? Obviously, Karl Barth...

You scored as a Karl Barth
The daddy of 20th Century theology. You perceive liberal theology to be a disaster and so you insist that the revelation of Christ, not human experience, should be the starting point for all theology.

I would have never placed myself in that category. Learn something new everyday!

Mine was almost a dead-even tie between Barth and Anselm with Barth receiving one more vote than Anselm. Interesting how close we are theologically, Les. :-)

Hmmmm, my childhood doctor's name was Barth. Almost an Anselm but not quite.

Tom,

Maybe you're closer to Calvinistic belief than you thought, eh?

Tony,

I can see Barth in you.

Micah,

I'm not surprised we're that close.

Quinn,

A little deja vu, perhaps?

I scored as Anselm. Like 93%.

Well, the second time I did. I didn't like who it said I was on the first try, so I went back and changed some answers.

Speaking of that, I didn't even know Attila was a theologian.

LES,
As a Christian First,I don't know what this means, but this is what my results were.
